If you have not already done so, we encourage you to create a parent account. This will enable more efficient communication and will allow you to be an "observer" for your student's account. You will be able to see the student's progress through the modules. Please follow the steps below to create your account.
3. Select 'Click Here For An Account' (Top Right of Screen).
4. Once your account has been created, your student can generate the pairing code.
Go to 'Account' > 'Settings > and choose 'Pair with Observer' on the right side of the screen. You will see a pairing code that you can use to add your student to your account.
Repeat this process for each child. In addition, each parent will need their own code as well. Have the child generate another pairing code for this purpose.
Note: If the code does not work, sometimes 'I's and lowercase 'L's look the same. Your child can generate a different code if needed).
Once an account has been created, you will be able to communicate through this platform and view your student's work and progress through the courses.
Mobile Phone Users:
There is also an app for your mobile device (Android and iOS) that can be downloaded and used for this platform: Canvas Parent.
Once the app is loaded onto your phone, have your student sign into Canvas and follow the pairing code steps above.
